Step 1: Find Your Power

We live in a world of influence and it’s easy to think powerful and successful people have the most perfect lives.

But have you ever set aside what you think of everyone else and look at yourself in the mirror and ask “What is my power?

No one is you and that is your power. Your influence is your power.

Once you accept that, you will begin to positively influence others. You will create a sunny version of the life YOU want to live!

Step 2: Find Your Escape

We live in a world where work emails and texts from friends are intertwined.

Your “work” can travel with you 24/7, so what does it mean to escape now?

It means you hold the keys to create the feeling of what it’s like to get away and free your mind.

To escape and sit quietly on my yoga mat - that’s my idea of a sunny paradise. What’s yours?

Step 3: Find Your Values

If you had to pick three values to live by for the rest of your life, what would they be? Write it down and vocalize it! Everyone should know what you stand for.

At home, your personal values guide your personal decisions. At work, they should also guide your business decisions.

My values are the 3 H’s: Health, Happiness and Honesty.

Everything I do at work and at home is centered around these three values. Stay true to yourself by living your values, that’s when the sunshine is created.

Step 4: Find Your Weakness

What is your greatest weakness?”

This question is common in job interviews. You’re usually not judged on your answer but how you answer it.

Turn your weakness into your strength.

When you face your flaws head on, it’s much easier to shift the answer to play to your strengths. Be confident in yourself and bring your own sunshine to the table!

Step 5: Find Your Routine

What you define in your day will influence you for the rest of your life. So why is it so hard to set a healthy routine?

It all starts with setting your intention for the day. If you start your day feeling unbalanced, your routine will be created out of unhealthy habits.

You are faced with two choices when it comes to building a routine for yourself, evolve or repeat.

My suggestion would be: evolve and bring your sunshine!

Step 6: Find Your Support System

Life is full of ups and downs and there comes a point where you might feel lost in your career path or in a relationship.

Surround yourself by people who know how to challenge you to be the best, sunny version of yourself.

It’s amazing how far you can go when someone believes in you.

Only you can truly hold yourself accountable, but it’s important to have a support system around you to keep pushing you forward.
