Intro: Have a Soleil Day

This photo is from a lunch date in Tampa @ Hyde Park, where my Mom encouraged me to come up with the new idea for ‘Soleil Getaways’.

As travel opens back up, I found myself reminiscing on some of the summer trips I’ve taken in my 20’s. When I had originally set up this blog, my intent was to write around ways to live a balanced life of work and fun. While that is still my intent, I found myself with writer’s block constantly trying to make it sound professional and add photos, quotes, etc. This is what happens when you work in Marketing (ha!).

This time around, I am going to let loose a bit and focus on writing about my candid experiences with my husband of ‘getting away’ and provide you real life adventures to inspire your own sunny getaway. Soleil Getaways gives you the power to turn everyday into a positive one filled with simple adventures.

The world is yours to explore.

I’m going to kick it off with a ‘Have a Soleil Day’ series - where I list out my travel itinerary from past trips (staycations, long weekends, to international) and suggested things to do in some of the beautiful places that we have visited. Big kudos goes to my husband who is a master travel planner and definitely helps curate all of these travel tips!
